Through its research in process automation, energy optimization, and industrial safety, the CS2AC contributes to improving the efficiency and reliability of automated systems in sectors such as energy, industry, and transport. CS2AC offers development, consulting and training services related to the world of advanced control and monitoring systems design applied to a wide variety of processes.
The Specific Research Center (CER) Monitoring, Safety and Automatic Control (CS2AC-UPC) is a multidisciplinary group of professors from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona Tech, Advanced Control Systems Research Group (SAC), and researchers of the Higher Council for Scientific Research of the Institute of Robotics & Industrial Informatics (IRI), Tech. Transfer, dedicated to the wider world of automatic control and monitoring systems.
